Residencies Announced!

Fresh Grounds

The Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts is proud to announce its first round of creative development residencies under the Fresh Ground initiative.

This initiative provides Queensland based artists, collectives, ensembles and not for-profit companies the opportunity to create new work in an environment that supports innovation and exploring new territory.

Fresh Ground provides successful artists with the use of either the Music or Theatre Rehearsal Rooms and access to professional expertise, equipment and financial resources.

Fresh Ground is open to applicants that can demonstrate the need for using the rehearsal spaces for a specified purpose, and that have the ability to work effectively within their nominated period.

All applicants must be based in Queensland or be able to demonstrate how their project will directly benefit Queensland arts and culture.
