Japan does things a little differently…. Trains run on time, karaoke is serious stuff, and 'stand-up' comedy is actually 'sit-down' comedy. Rakugo has a history of over 300 years, with a solo narrator that tells stories of peculiar characters and situations.
Having its origins in the 16th century and established during the Edo era, Rakugo has been verbally passed down through one generation to another.
A different comedy experience rarely seen outside of Japan, Asakichi Katsura will make you laugh till you can't sit-down- stand it no more!

Recommended for ages 15+ ( contains mature themes)
